I'm thinking about getting a mustang 2032 skid loader, is the mustand brand any good? do they have more/less problems then gehl or bobcat or john deere etc?I just got done looking around, it seems that the mustang 2109 and Gehl 7810are pretty muc. It's about 4 hours away so I am .Up to the 2054 size the Mustangs are still Mustang designed.Above this size they are almost identical to a Gehl except for the Boom(stronger and much higher lift ratings on the arms than a Gehl).Plus Cummins and Yanmar powered instead of Duetz in the Gehl.IMO the hand and foot control option on these is not set up properly.The stalks are WAY to far reward and make .

As with most internet searches for equipment reviews, you typically only find those folks with bad experiences and looking to vent. As someone looking to add a skid steer on a modest budget to the farm, I've found several Mustang's in my price range but I'm leary based on lack of positive reviews.
i have a 2004 Mustang 2044, great little machine, simple to operate and repair. i would join heavyequipmentforums.com and do a search on the 2109. ive read quite a few horror stories about the 2109. do afew searches online first. Forum dedicated to Mustang brand skid steers and Mustang skidsteer attachments. I just bought a '00 Mustang 2040 with 1,600 hours on it. I am the third owner. The first owner was a rental company (need I say more), and the second owner was a private contractor. It came with all of the manuals and repair & service documentation. The engine always starts on the first click and sounds great.
