I have a Cat 416C tlb, and a mini/skid steer combination. If I had to choose one or the other I think I would go for the tlb. My mini/skid combo is made up of a 12,000# Bobcat 435ZHS and an8,000# A300 (all wheel steer AND skid steer depending on switch position). They are versatile but they will take longer to do most jobs than the tlb.

A mini x/track dumper combo would work. or a decent size track machine which will be able to put a lot more rubber to the road sort of speak.. In North Carolina you can get a Class A Non-CDL license to pull over 10k. It is meant for farmers, pulling large boats, and personal use hauling. You have to take the CDL written test and then a normal driving test with your truck / trailer. I just got my Class A Non-CDL to haul my 12k excavator from the house to some of our land.
