So if I bought one I could still use round or hex auger bits.
As far as augers go, all mine are Pengo brand, and I love them. They make a Bolt on rock head (BOHR) for all of them and they are heavy enough to handle it. They chew through tree roots and old fence posts. Danuser augers would be fine too. Really anything from Danuser is good, but, really compare that Bobcat digger before you throw money down. I'd like to put an auger on it. It's not something that is often "reviewed" online so I'm coming here for my research! The machine has 20GPM flow as well as the 30GPM high-flow option. I need an auger drive and rock bit (lots of weathered schist), and need recommendations on the brand. I'll probably only be drilling 30 or so holes, for now, but I want something descent. I am not inclined to hiring someone, either. Considering purchasing the Lowe brand model A-220 skid steer auger. Anyone know if they are decent?
