On my last use with the 277B I washed it thoroughly as usual but put it away . I have a 2006 CAT 277B (CAT0277BCMDH04755) with about 2,000 hours on it. It's always cranked right up and run strong. A couple weeks ago I had been using it.

I was under time constraint and just shut it down after parking it. Hi i had a problem with my bucket tilting down on its own. A man told me to replace the work tool valve and solinoid so i did but now the bucket tips up but wont tilt down. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Im in Massachusetts and finding a mechanic that's reasonable is hard im trying not to have to go to milton cat thanks! I loved the ASV system that bolted on in place of the tires on a wheeled skid steer. Sometimes hard to get on and off, but way tougher than the wheels and the tracks that CAT made.

I wouldn' buy a Chinese excavator for a number of reasons. A. I don't like being conned. If the product is good it will come to pass that it has a good reputation, has proven lasting power, smoothness of operation, safe to operate, reliability and parts are readily available. In my view the Chinese excavators fail all of these criteria. B.
