I was working with my skid steer today when the tool fell off of the front mount. . For some reason the forks "pop off" whenever I put down pressure on them. A real pain when trying to drag into a pallet or any pile of brush. It appears the the quick release pins do not engage the aftermarket skid steer plate as well as the Kubota plate on the bucket.
I bought an aftermarket quick attach to bring my loader up to the new style. The new plate fits on the bucket just fine, but when I go to back drag the pins will pop up and out of the notches. Has anyone ever had this happen before?
We have a 440ct skid steer and the attachments are constantly falling off if you put any down pressure like back blading. The pins are in the correct way as they only go in one way and their is all new pressure springs installed.
The other thing to check is the angled top and bottom plates on your attach plates on your attachments. If they are not the correct heights the pins won't hold it properly and allow it to slip off. Are the locking pins long enough? Suddenly the buckets on my skid steer just fall off if any down pressure is applied. Been working fine up until yesterday. Buckets are pretty new so dont think they are worn. Lift the attachment off the ground. Then see how much gap you have between the attachment plate where the pin holes are and the bottom of your SSQA. Use this as a guide to add a plate shim.
If you lift the attachment up high you can see the bottom of the pins from the operator seat. See that they are both down. (If I remember right, the pins stick down a noticeable amount.) #3: It would be good to put on another attachment that doesn't pop off and see how far the pins are down.

I have the 853 loader with quick attach on the 5030 I just picked up same as my 4330 had. when I back drag the bucket falls off. I looked at the QA pins and to me it looks as though maybe 2 nuts are missing to hold pressure on the springs. New to me 1840 skid steer.
