I would like the most reliable, most powerful skid steer available with foot controls. I have tried ISO, it is wonderful, personally I would like to stick to foot controls. I'm trying to figure out if the Kubota or Cummins are more reliable. I budgeted ,500 to purchase this machine and would greatly appreciate recommendations from some of the members of this forum on the following. 1-What brand is most reliable ( I'm looking for one that's darn near bulletproof) 2-What model would you suggest ( it's been my experience that I would much rather be overpowered than underpowered ) 3 .I'm currently shopping around for a skid steer for my personal projects on my property. I had been going back and forth between that or a compact tractor for a while, but most of current and future projects involve moving dirt/gravel/road base, moving heavy things on pallets, digging postholes, drilling earth screws, foundations, etc. - all .
