bobcat 334 mini excavator reviews I'm in the market for a mini-ex and am considering a 2006 Bobcat 334G. It's not close to me, so I've had it checked out remotely. It's got a boatload of hours on it, but it's a one owner and in pretty good shape. The 18Z-1 is a zero tailswing model, facilitating work in tight environments such as footways and in between buildings. It has a 3,856 lb weight, a 9 feet 4 inches dig depth, and a 100% steel bodywork that withstands knocks.

My father in law is looking at buying a mini excavator. We have had someone come out several times with a Bobcat 335 and that seems like a nice size, but the used ones seem to run around k (more than he wants to spend). My Bobcat 334 for some reason, has lost hi-speed travel. The thumb button appears to be clicking but not engaging the hi speed. Any advice to help minimize the troubleshooting would be appreciated. Dealer has a 334 in my price range. It’s a 40hp 7500# machine and has a thumb. I want to run some waterlines and clear some stumps and small trees that are mostly 4-8 inches across. I am new to this forum and to excavators. I just bought a "solid" Bobcat 334 with "2100" hours on it. It was from a few hours drive from me an I could not see it in person but the seller showed me it working a digging.
