Can you remove the solenoid and it's stem to manually release the brake? If not, you may be able to jury rig a jumper to it to get some power to release it temporarily, and at least get it loaded. You need to replace the faulty solonoid to get the machine to operate. You can modify the burnt out solonoid to get the machine to operate - but these are 'safety devices' - if someone is ever hurt by the machine ie: pinned by falling bucket - & you are investigated ... well. it's up to you to decide.

I have a CASE 70XT skid loader that I am having issues with the booms and bucket tilt. A few days ago I was scraping the cow lot, when I was done I went to put my pallet forks. Shut off the loader, for a few min and when I started it back up my booms were real sluggish and the bucket tilt will tilt down but will not tilt up.Search by Diagram. My Case 70XT started acting goofy awhile back the main symptom is that the main boom lowers very slowly or not at all. When it is going down the engine seems to be under a lot of load. If you pull the control lever over to the float position it lowers fine.
