1. Jun 21, 2013. #2. I was moving bales yesterday, everything was working fine. These bales are 1700 to 1800 lbs each. Unloaded a load, then went 1/2 mile to next field, boom will lift and tilt empty, but as soon as you try to lift a bale, it won't lift. Hydraulic oil level is where it should be, and I changed the filter, but that didn't work. Without an attachment on the hydraulics you would need to crack the couplers to see if when its running if its spraying oil out. Its normal to get a small amount of flow at very low pressure but not a spray.
